BOYFRIEND the Brand Collaborates with Dana Hourani

The It-girl tries her hand at fashion design

Dana Hourani is certainly keeping herself busy this year. After dipping her toes into the music industry last month with her catchy cover of the noughties classic Teenage Dirtbag, the Lebanese it-girl is back to making moves in the fashion industry, this time with a capsule collection for Lebanese Stylist and Creative Director Amine Jreissati’s label: BOYFRIEND The Brand.

Long time friends Jreissati and Hourani  created an exclusive collection that infused both their styles for his Beirut-based gender-neutral label. “We have always bounced ideas off each other for fun” she said, “it was only a matter of time before we brought it to life”.

With a touch of leather and two-toned hues, the collection is the perfect blend of BOYFRIEND’s minimalism and Hourani’s bold style. Among the pieces are an oversized two-toned quilted jacket, loose-fitting edgy black leather trousers, and a brown leather shirt to match.

“The same shirt can be worn by a man or a woman and simply twisted with a belt or rubber bands around the sleeves to match each taste and style,” said Jreissati, “The brand was founded to remind of the importance of basics and their mix and match.”

The collection is set drop on October 31 at 6:05 Concept Store in Beirut.
