Following an electric performance by ASAP Rocky at the Gucci party last Wednesday, Sole DXB kicked off its sixth edition with a bang, taking over Dubai’s Design District for what has now become one of the year’s most anticipated events.
With a jam-packed program, the streetwear festival opened its doors on Friday, bringing together the city’s coolest crowd for a two-day weekend packed full of shopping, talks and not least, a hotly anticipated music line-up that’d rival any big music festival.
On Friday, British singer Dev Hynes, also known as Blood Orange, took to the stage for his first performance in Dubai. British rapper Giggs followed with a performance that had the crowds going wild.
As for the weekend’s biggest headliner, NYC rapper Nas made his UAE debut and took to the stage on Saturday, bringing the festival to a close.
