The Piercing Annex is the region’s first-of-its-kind pop-up piercing studio. Having quickly garnered everyone’s attention when they launched their first edition in Riyadh in 2016, two years later, the pop-up still remains unrivalled, as they host their fifth edition, this time in the UAE.
Founded by Saudi entrepreneurs 23-year-old Lamia AlEisa and 24-year-old Reema Motib, The Piercing Annex aim to promote safe piercing practices across the GCC with their three-day event, which unites industry professionals with fine jewellery from some of the world’s best designers including Maria Tash, BVLA, and Meenu to Pupil Hall.
Combined with their mission to offer a safe, sterile and professional environment – their selection of high-end fine jewellery is what keeps the event unrivalled.
Over the years, The Piercing Annex has quickly gained a cult following, with hundreds flocking to their studios in search of the perfect body jewellery that’s typically quite difficult to find in the region.
The duo just held their latest edition in Dubai over the weekend, in Dubai’s Design District, with MILLE favourite Parvané Barret spinning at the DJ booth.
