After 37 captivating fashion shows and presentations, the second edition of Riyadh Fashion Week wrapped up on Monday, leaving us with plenty of memorable moments both on and off the catwalk. But, as often happens, what goes on behind the scenes can be just as—if not more—compelling than the runway itself. Saudi photographer Mohammed Bamo, known for his striking portraits, was backstage in Riyadh at the spring/summer 2025 collections, capturing those bits even VIP guests on the front row didn’t get to see. Armed with a Polaroid Now Instant Camera and an eye for the extraordinary, the rising Jeddah-based photographer took 15 striking polaroids— you know, the instant film that develops in a minute or two, creating a hazy IRL souvenir.
