Over the years, the UAE has established itself as a cultural hub. In the Middle East certainly, but on a global level too, becoming home to numerous creative talents from across the globe.
One thing for sure, the Gulf nation has become the region’s landmark metropolis for all the creative minds to co-exist. Enter: the Golden Visa. In its efforts to attract the region’s creative forces to contribute to its development journey and to acknowledge the cultural contributions of creatives that made their mark on the Arab world, the UAE has granted over the past few months its sought-after Golden Visa to a slew of celebrities.
The visa provides its recipients with long-term residency to live, work and study in the UAE without the need of a national sponsor and with 100 per cent ownership of their business on the UAE’s mainland. These visas will be issued for 5 or 10 years and will be renewed automatically.
Including actors, singers and composers and even digital influencers, from Karen Wazen to Marwan Khoury and Najwa Karam, these are the 25 celebrities who got the golden ticket to the creator’s haven. See how they are celebrating here.
