It feels like not a single month goes by without someone from our neck of the woods being presented as the latest muse of a luxury label. Just this year, Tunisian-French model Ameni Esseibi became Jean-Paul Gaultier’s first Arab ambassador, and Egyptian actor Rami Malek was recently appointed as Dior Men’s first Middle Eastern spokesperson for fashion and fragrances. And the latest to join the very exclusive list of brand representatives is Egyptian thespian Huda El-Mufti, who was just announced as the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s (D&G) fashion and beauty divisions in the region.
“I’m honored to be Dolce & Gabbana’s first Regional Ambassador in the Middle East. This partnership celebrates style, culture, and creativity, and I’m excited to represent a brand that resonates with me,” El-Mufti said in a recently shared press release. “Fashion and beauty have always been a powerful way to express myself, so I look forward to sharing this vision through the lens of the Middle Eastern spirit,” she continued.
Chosen for her “sophisticated and unmistakable sense of style,” the Helwan-born icon was handpicked to represent the Italian label wherever its influence reaches. Sharing the exciting piece of news to her community of over three million loyal followers, through a snapshot of her attendance at D&G’s Spring 2025 RTW show during Milan Fashion Week, El-Mufti wrote: “Excited to be Dolce & Gabbana’s first regional ambassador in the Middle East.”
She also added that stepping into her new role, she aims to “showcase the brand’s essence through fashion and beauty that reflects my passion and the region’s culture.”
In celebration of the news, below, we gathered five facts to absolutely know about El-Mufti.
