Acne Studios Teams Up With Spotify To Support Artists

mmmh interesting

Swedish fashion house Acne Studios and music streaming platform Spotify have teamed up to spotlight both established and emerging musical talents across the globe. Building on the success of the pre-existing “Acne People” program— an initiative designed to promote artists who embody the brand’s core values best— the Scandinavian brand will now extend its reach with the help of the global streaming service, with the intention of “building a new stage for artists” at key moments of the international fashion calendar.

Scheduled to kick off in fall— just in time for Fashion Month— the collaboration’s rollout will include a series of exclusive performances and various other fashion-music activations, details of which will be revealed in September. What’s more, it has also been reported that tailor-made playlists will be curated for the occasion to complement the experience.

Over the years, Acne Studios has managed to build an impressive roster of close collaborators, including the likes of Canadian DJ Kaytranada, Spanish singer and songwriter Rosalia, and NYC-based producer Yaeji, who have all taken part in the Acne People program.

With so much to look forward to, we can’t wait to see what the two new collaborators have in store for us. In the meantime, we’ll keep a close eye on their respective updates as we eagerly wait for their partnership to come to life.
