Amina Muaddi Just Opened Her First-Ever Flagship Store in Paris

finally!

If you don’t already own a pair of Amina Muaddi’s signature heels, chances are you soon will—especially now that the designer has officially opened her very first flagship store in Paris, nearly seven-years after launching her eponymous footwear label. Nestled in the heart of Avenue Montaigne—flanked by Jil Sander and Hôtel Montaigne, and just across the street to Burberry—the location couldn’t be more prime, or more fitting, for one of fashion’s most beloved footwear designers.

“A dream come true,” Muaddi described the milestone moment. “Almost 7 years ago I launched this brand with the desire to make women all over the world a little happier. Now we can welcome them into our universe for a moment of self-care with a touch of glamour. They say “give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world” but I feel I’m the one conquering the world every single time I see the incredible people that I get to call my clients wearing our products,” she added.

To toast the opening, the Jordanian-Romanian designer threw an intimate cocktail at the newly minted boutique. Among the attendees? Close friends and familiar faces, including Simone Porte Jacquemus and Lori Harvey. The soirée served not only as a celebration of her first brick-and-mortar outpost but also as a debut for several store-exclusive designs that can only be found at the flagship. In other words, these pieces are strictly for those who make the pilgrimage to Paris.

The boutique itself is a reflection of Muaddi’s flair for blending femininity with futurism. The space, softly illuminated by a sculptural, spiral chandelier, feels equal parts showroom and jewel box. Inside, you’ll find velvet-upholstered seating, moody mirrored displays, brushed metallic walls, and vertical lightboxes showcasing individual heel designs like precious art.

The move was a long time coming. Before she became a household name (and a red carpet favorite), Muaddi designed footwear for Alexandre Vauthier and served as co-founder and creative director of luxury footwear label, Oscar Tiye, which she departed in 2017. Then came the launch of her eponymous label, and with it, the now-ubiquitous flute heel—recognizable from across the room and found in the wardrobes of It-girls everywhere. Collaborations with Rihanna’s Fenty and A$AP Rocky’s AWGE soon followed, cementing her place in the fashion canon as more than just a shoe designer, but a global brand builder with impeccable vision.

The flagship on Avenue Montaigne marks the next chapter, a physical manifestation of what Muaddi has been building since day one. And like everything she does, it’s bold, sexy, and impossible to ignore.
