amongst few x Power Horse Is the Collaboration We Never Knew We Needed

Dropping today!

Homegrown streetwear label amongst few has joined forces with Austrian energy drink Power Horse on a range of limited-edition ready-to-wear pieces for a collaboration that we never knew we needed until now. The collection of ultra-cozy pullover hoodies, cotton t-shirts, satin caps, and canvas totes will be dropping exclusively at the 10th edition of SOLE DXB taking place from Dec. 9 to 11, following a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus in 2020 and 2021.

The capsule features both amongst few and Power Horse graphics in English and Arabic, staying true to amongst few’s Middle Eastern roots,  executed in a range of techniques including reflective 3M embroidery, print, patches, and silk screen printing. Not only do the pieces look good aesthetically, but they feel great too. Using only the most durable and  comfortable fabrics like premium cotton and satin, you’ll never want to take them off, which isn’t such a bad thing considering that the line of t-shirts and jumpers are versatile enough to be paired with just about anything.

Placing artwork is an easy way of creating short-lived hype, but for a brand to stand out it needs to go past a t-shirt with some graphic design and a reimagined logo. What sets amongst few apart from the hundreds of streetwear labels emerging from the region is its community-driven ethos. Not only has the label, co-founded by Flo Moser and Mike Taylor in 2013, provided ultra-cool and wearable creations during its almost-10-years but it has also inadvertently built an inspiring community of creatives, musicians, athletes, artists, and culture-shapers in the process.

For this motorsport-themed partnership, the Dubai-based label enlisted the help of by Emirati racer Sultan Al Dhaheri and motocross rider “Snake 1000” to bring their vision to life through an artful lookbook photographed and directed by Simon Bonneau and Connor Rycroft that depicts an amongst few x Power Horse 1400 bhp custom built Funco Sand rail buggy driven by Al Dhaheri through Dubai’s undulating dunes.

Those who want to get their hands on the new offering should make their way to amongst few and Power Horse’s three-day-long popup at the streetwear and music festival, where they will also be able to catch live DJ sets from the likes of Disco Arabesquo, Satwa 3000, Megatronic, and more.
