A Look at Louis Vuitton’s World Cup Collection

Made-to-order bags in the colours of your national flag

Long-time FIFA collaborator, Louis Vuitton, has once again partnered with football’s governing body to create a World Cup travel case (a product they’ve been collaborating on since 2010). This year’s design—which was created to celebrate the tournament, which will be held in Russia next week—sees the French fashion house take the partnership to new heights, adding an official licensed product collection to the mix.

The capsule collection is a playful take on the house’s signature Keepall and Apollo bags as well as a selection of small leather goods—all made in Louis Vuitton’s classic Epi leather.

In keeping with the World Cup spirit, the collection features the same hexagonal pattern of a match ball—a design that was first created by Adidas for the 1970 World Cup held in Mexico. The collection is available in three colour combinations, red and white, blue and white, and black and white.

For super keen football fans out there, the house is also offering a selection of made-to-order versions of the Keepall and Apollo bags. Clients can choose to customise their bags in the colours of practically every national flag.

The collection is available at select Louis Vuitton Stores and online starting June 14th.
