Arab Artists are Monopolising the Grammys

Introducing the next gen of gems

It’s that time of the year again where celebrations are at every corner. And the world of culture proves to not be immune to this season either, especially when our region gets involved.

Hailing from all over the Arab world, eight producers have managed to chalk their names on the much-coveted list of nominees of the upcoming Grammy Awards. Held annually, the ceremony champions the main players of the past year’s musical industry, and we’re all over it. Lebanon is the most represented in the list with four ambassadors. They’re quickly followed by two Palestinian delegates and one each for Algeria and Egypt.

With such an array of talent beaming from our end, we’ve gathered the crafts of some of the world’s most talented musicians and that may, sooner rather than later, be crowned with the ultimate distinction.

Kiss Me More – Doja Cat feat SZA (Rogét Chahayed, Lebanon)

BACK OF MY MIND – H.E.R (Tarik Azzouz, Algeria & Nasri Atweh, Palestine)

Justice – Justin Bieber (Rami Yacoub, Palestine)

Planet Her – Doja Cat (Khaled Rohaim, Egypt & Jamil Chammas, Lebanon)

Certified Lover Boy – Drake ( Noah Shebib, Lebanon & Oliver El-Khatib, Lebanon)
