Now in its fifth year, Azimuth Festival is once again preparing to transform AlUla into the region’s most talked-about stage. Taking place on September 25 and 26, under the theme “Until the Sun Comes Up,” the two-day celebration will welcome 26 international and regional performers, set against the dramatic desert landscape that has become the festival’s signature backdrop.
This year’s program spans genres as wide-ranging as alternative, R&B, and electronic dance music, bringing together a star-studded lineup of global names and regional favorites. At the top of the bill is London Grammar, whose cinematic sound and powerhouse vocals have made tracks like Hey Now, Strong, and Wasting My Young Years modern anthems. They’ll be joined by RDJ (Aphex Twin), a rare and thrilling addition to the lineup. Known for bending the rules of electronic music with cult classics such as Come to Daddy and Windowlicker, his performance promises to be one of the festival’s most unforgettable moments. Alongside them, regional hitmakers ASH, Dish Dash, and Nemahsis, will also light up the main stage, ensuring two nights packed with star power.
The Hive Stage, meanwhile, is set to showcase a more eclectic mix, welcoming Bedouin Burger, Chiati, Vinyl Mode, and Zeina, among others. The programming balances established acts with emerging talent, making space for discovery as well as spectacle.
Music, however, is just the entry point. Azimuth has built its reputation on crafting an immersive atmosphere that feels closer to a cultural happening than a traditional festival. Guests can expect pop-up dining experiences helmed by acclaimed chefs, interactive art performances that draw audiences directly into the action, and large-scale installations that transform AlUla’s historic terrain into a living gallery.
Tickets are already live, with GA single-day passes at SAR 1,200 and weekend access starting at SAR 2,000. Premium options are also available. More than just a weekend escape, Azimuth has become a centerpiece of Saudi Arabia’s cultural calendar. Visit www.experiencealula.com for more information.
