Balqees Fathi is the First Middle Eastern Face of Messika

Congrats!

Balqees Fathi is the newest face of Messika, making history in the process as the first Middle Eastern ambassador of the luxury jeweler. In a striking new campaign, directed by Valérie Messika and photographed by Ben Fourmi, the Yemeni-Emirati hitmaker shows off the brand’s iconic Lucky Move Color collection with an elegance that is unmistakably hers.

Since her debut in 2013, Fathi has been a trailblazer in Arabic music. Real, independent, and unapologetically committed to empowering women, the UNICEF ambassador and entrepreneur (she founded her own inclusive beauty range Bex in 2021), is constantly adding new achievements to her ever-growing CV.

“Balqees has the natural confidence of someone who knows exactly where she’s going. She’s radiant, determined, and undeniably inspiring,” said Valérie Messika, speaking of Fathi’s new role.

The Entaha singer follows in the footsteps of Gigi Hadid, Carla Bruni, and Kendall Jenner, who have also served as Messika brand ambassadors.

Meanwhile, it’s not the trailblazing artist’s first time making history. In February, Fathi made all of us proud when she was appointed as Guerlain’s first Emirati regional ambassador.
