Summer in the Gulf might not be peak festival season, but Beat the Heat DXB is making sure music fans still have plenty to look forward to. Returning for its fifth edition, the Dubai concert series has begun unveiling the artists set to take over the stage this summer,
bringing together some of the biggest names from across the region.
Taking place at Hall 8 of the Dubai World Trade Centre as part of Dubai Summer Surprises, Beat the Heat DXB has quietly become one of Dubai’s go-to live music events, offering a packed program of indoor concerts while temperatures outside continue to soar. Over the years, the series has welcomed some of the Arab world’s biggest stars, spanning everything from rap and pop to Khaleeji music and rock.
The series will kick off on July 18 with a concert headlined by Moroccan hitmaker DYSTINCT alongside Jordanian-Palestinian rising star Issam Alnajjar. The following shows will see Rasha Rizk take to the stage on Aug. 1, followed by Al Shami on Aug. 8. On Aug. 15, Egyptian rap heavyweight Marwan Moussa will share the bill with Sudanese artist Hleem, before the fifth edition draws to a close on Aug. 21 with performances from Talal Sam and Sultan Al Murshed.
With most of the Gulf’s major music festivals still a few months away, Beat the Heat DXB is filling the gap with a line-up that reflects just how diverse the region’s music scene has become. Whether you’re into rap, Arabic pop, rock, or Khaleeji music, there’s something on the bill worth checking out. Tickets are on sale now, with prices starting from AED 105.
