Bella Hadid Fronts Chopard’s Ice Cube Campaign

Bella is back

Bella Hadid was appointed Chopard’s brand ambassador back in August, and in celebration of the exciting news, the luxury jewelry house unveiled its first campaign starring the supermodel and newly-minted face of Chopard. Photographed by British fashion photographer and director Charlotte Wales, the part-Palestinian model is a vision, illuminated by the brilliance of Chopard’s Ice Cube collection—a design that has become an iconic motif since it was first introduced in 1999 through a watch.

Draped in chokers, earrings, bracelets, and rings, all meticulously crafted from ethical 18-carat rose gold, Hadid radiates against a striking urban backdrop. The campaign, aptly named “Sculpted by Light,” masterfully plays with reflections and shadow, using light to accentuate the flawless geometry of the Ice Cube designs. This minimalist collection, known for its sleek, graphic lines, channels the timeless principles of the Bauhaus movement—a German artistic movement that emphasized simplicity, functionality, and clean, minimalist design across art, architecture, and everyday objects.

“Bella embodies beauty, elegance, and strength, qualities that perfectly reflect the Chopard woman,” said Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s co-president and artistic director, of Hadid’s appointment. The model, who just turned 28, was born in California to Palestinian real estate developer Mohamed Hadid and reality TV star Yolanda Hadid. Her glowing presence in the campaign echoes the purity and refined craftsmanship of Ice Cube jewelry, where each cube, though seemingly simple, hides impressive technical precision—its facets delicately milled to reflect light from every angle, producing an exceptional brilliance.

Hadid’s appointment marks a new chapter in her ongoing collaboration with Chopard, having worn the brand’s creations countless times throughout her career. Her relationship with the house reflects its commitment to both beauty and ethics, with the Ice Cube collection standing as a testament to Chopard’s pioneering use of ethical gold—a practice they’ve championed since 2017.

Her new role comes at a pivotal moment in her career. After taking a step back from the spotlight to prioritize her health, she now selectively appears for brands she truly believes in. Chopard joins a short list of luxury houses she’s thrown her support behind, including her recent appointment as Saint Laurent’s brand ambassador (she even made her highly anticipated return to the runway during Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week show, reminding everyone why she remains one of the most sought-after faces in fashion.) With her undeniable influence and authentic connection to the brands she supports, Hadid is the perfect embodiment of Chopard’s values.
