Regardless of how you feel about it, turning 30 is a milestone that forces a bit of reflection on what’s been accomplished so far, what’s yet to be done and how it feels to have spun around the sun so many times. For part-Palestinian supermodel Bella Hadid, that reflection will take the form of a photo-memoir tracing her life on and off runways and catwalks.
Framed by her childhood friend Yasmine Diba, the archival project, titled Between Us, will be accompanied by captions written by Hadid as, together, they look back at many unseen moments, some that were perhaps intentionally kept away from the public eye, to offer a glimpse into a side of her life that cameras usually miss. Published by American house Rizzoli, the hardcover is set to hit shelves on Oct. 3, 2026, just days before the model’s 30th birthday on Oct. 9.
“Beginning with their shared girlhood in Malibu and continuing through Bella’s rise to global recognition, this memoir unfolds as a playful dual narrative through the cameras of Bella and Yasmine Diba, a friend who truly knows the woman behind the face,” Rizzoli’s description of the forthcoming release reads.
“One of fashion’s most visible personalities, Bella showcases her runway highlights and campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Fendi, and many others alongside moments rarely witnessed by the public: childhood memories with sister Gigi and mother Yolanda, lonely transatlantic flights, off-duty creative rituals, and private emotional reckonings,” it also adds.
Spanning nearly 300 pages, the memoir finally delivers on years of anticipation from fans who’ve been wanting to peak into the life of someone who’s managed to carve out space in an industry that hasn’t always made room for figures like her, especially those with Palestinian roots.
