With an extensive career in fashion, it’s no surprise that Anna Dello Russo has amassed an expansive (and expensive) collection of designer threads over the years. But, while most of us like to hang on to our most coveted pieces, the Vogue Japan editor-at-large has decided to give hers away, and not for personal profit.

“This is about passing on my heritage,” she told Vogue, in regards to her shocking decision to sell on thousands of archive pieces at a Christie’s auction and on Net-a-Porter, with the profits going towards scholarships for fashion students at Central Saint Martins.

The sales are set to take place in February, during Milan Fashion Week.
