Two months after the devastating explosion that shook Beirut, Italian luxury label Bvlgari is making sure it continues its support to the Lebanese capital. Partnering up with the Save the Children Fund, the label launched its B for Beirut initiative, a fundraising project aimed at helping vulnerable children and youth in Lebanon.
The label has partnered up with the organization since 2009, supporting its activities all over the world. This time around, Bvlgari brought along 25 of the region’s biggest stars to support their mission, among them Lebanese TV host Diala Makki, Saudi Arabian singer Aseel Omran, Emirati influencer Mthayel Al Ali, and Lebanese influencer and mom of three, Karen Wazen.
Answering the question of “what do you wish for children”, they posed in a new campaign holding up signs that read ‘opportunity’, ‘resilience’, and ‘love’, among other hopes for the future of young children all over the world.
Hosted at Il Ristorante – Niko Romito at Bvlgari Resort Dubai, Bvlgari invited the campaign’s stars for a special menu created by chef Niko Romito to fundraise for the organization. The restaurant also committed to allocating its revenue generated over the next two weeks to benefit Save the Children.
The B for Beirut campaign aims to provide non-formal education for 600 out-of-school children, and support 380 children at risk of drop out of public schools through catch-up classes to fill the learning gap for children.
