Few designs deserve the title ‘iconic’, but Bvlgari’s Serpenti bag is just that. The Italian fashion house just released new iterations of their signature bag, and it’s edgier than ever.
Entitled ‘Glam Rebel’, the new collection includes a few new versions that feature the house’s instantly-recognizable diamond-pattern, and to celebrate, Bvlgari teamed up with Saudi singer-turned-actress Aseel Omran.
The campaign sees the Saudi native perfectly encapsulate the spirit of the collection. Shot by Dubai-based Iranian filmmaker Iman Naghavi, we see Aseel stuck in a conundrum: which bag to choose? Obviously, just like us, she isn’t able to select just one and is seen grappling with them all instead.
Backed by a soundtrack composed by Tunisian producer Souheil Gasmi, the campaign puts the new Serpenti Cabochon bag in the spotlight, with the bag’s charcoal diamond metallic karun skin, and white calf leather (with a new adjustable and detachable chain) on full display.
Aseel also lusts over a new Serpenti Forever bag, this iteration features metallic lace and smooth calf leather frames. This bag alone reportedly requires 12 hours of work by a skilled artisan to make each panel.
