Egypt’s landmark event for all things related to art and design is preparing to make its return in a few months as Cairo Design Week (CDW) gears up for its fourth edition. Set to take place from Nov. 19–28, the citywide event will once again bring together designers, architects, artists, makers, and creative practitioners for ten days of exhibitions, installations, talks, workshops, and cultural programming across the Egyptian capital.
Across three of the districts the annual fair traditionally takes over—namely Zamalek, Downtown Cairo, and Heliopolis—the event will once again transform the city into a meeting point for cultural workers from across the creative spectrum. While full programming details have yet to be revealed, organizers say this year’s edition will feature a broader international footprint and a stronger focus on collaborations between different creative disciplines. The festival is also expected to expand its presence into the public space through new installations and activities spread across the city.
“Cairo Design Week reflects the creative energy of Cairo itself,” said Hisham Mahdy, Founder of Cairo Design Week. “What began as a platform to showcase Egyptian design has evolved into a meeting point for regional and international creatives, institutions, and brands. In 2026, we look forward to creating even more opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, and discovery while continuing to celebrate the incredible talent shaping our industry,” he added.
Applications to participate in this forthcoming edition will soon open to designers, brands, galleries, creative institutions, cultural organizations, and industry partners from around the world. Additional programme details, participation opportunities, and event announcements will be unveiled over the coming months via Cairo Design Week’s official platforms.
