Cairo Design Week (CDW) is officially set to return from November 20–29, marking what’s expected to be its biggest and most dynamic edition yet. Now heading into its third iteration, the festival is rolling out an expanded lineup of exhibitions, talks, and installations that will spotlight Egypt’s creative scene alongside regional and international talents.
Unfolding across three soon-to-be-announced districts, Cairo Design Week 2025 will bring influential figures, pioneering brands, and fresh ideas all together in a citywide celebration. Following 2024’s success—with 100+ designers, 150 exhibitors, and 80 speakers—the forthcoming event aims to connect Egypt’s creative community with international leaders, cementing Cairo’s place among other major design capitals worldwide.
“Cairo Design Week has grown into more than just a platform– it’s a movement that brings together people, ideas, and cultures,” said Hisham Mahdy, Founder of Cairo Design Week. “For 2025, our vision is to build on last year’s incredible momentum and create a world-class space where Egyptian talent stands shoulder to shoulder with global innovators. At the same time, we want design to feel open, accessible, and inspiring for everyone,” he added.
Over ten days, the city will transform with installations, exhibitions, pavilions, and live activations across streets and landmarks. Complementing the public program, CDW 2025 will feature talks, workshops, and cultural events that honor Egypt’s heritage while spotlighting future-facing designs.
Tickets to attend will be available starting Sept. 25, with details on pricing and access to the full program to be announced soon.
