With around 20 years experience in the fashion industry—having worked at British Vogue, i-D and Garage—, styled runway shows for Fendi and consulted for brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Dior – to call Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall fashion world heavyhitters would be a massive understatement.
So the duo—who are also best friends—chose to expand from styling other people’s creations to creating their very own brand, entitled Chaos. Having launched their debut campaign video for their tech line on Vogue Runway in November of last year (starring Binx Walton, Karlie Kloss, Taylor Hill, Lexi Boling and Anna Ewers – naturally) and an accompanying biannual poster book entitled CHAOS SIXTYNINE (which featured Cara Delevingne locking lips with Adwoa Aboah, Dexter Navy’s portraits of Kendall Jenner and three faces of Karl Lagerfeld) you’d be hard pressed to describe what the creative duo do as ‘designing’.
The brand, which is comprised of tech goods (deerskin phone cases and embossed portable chargers), travel accessories (embellished printed leather luggage belts and tags) and a small collection of silk ‘evening track suits’ that have already been sported by Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie and Kendall Jenner.
