For the launch of their Happy Hearts collection, the Geneva-based jewellery house Chopard paid tribute to the brand’s core values (humanity, generosity and kindness) by celebrating 10 regional females and looking at how their individual lives and careers have been guided by their heart.
“If I were to associate Chopard with a motif, it would be a Big Heart because there is a family behind it”, says Caroline Scheufele, co-president of Chopard. The campaign takes us on a journey of passion, success and ambition through the voices of the region’s most successful creatives, like Jordanian designers Nafsika and Stephanie Skourti, Saudi interior designer and fitness trainer Haya Sawan and Kuwaiti shoe designer and entrepreneur Farah Sultan, among others.
“It takes a lot of heart to be a mother”, says Haya Sawan explaining how motherhood has changed her, before adding, “There is no right or wrong, there is no role model”.
With its elegant collection, Chopard dedicates Happy Hearts to every woman with a big heart. “At the beginning, it was very difficult to be an ambitious woman and a mother. I have been through so much in my life, but always come back to what I feel in my heart”, says Jordanian fashion consultant Shirene Rifai.
