Just days after announcing Gunna’s presence at the next edition of Bred Abu Dhabi, organizers kept the momentum going by revealing which other artists will join the American rapper on stage as headlining acts. Per a shared statement, hip-hop duo Clipse, RnB singer Bryson Tiller, British MC Nemzzz, disc-spinner Mustard, and Nigerian artist Ayra Starr will round out the top of the bill, locking in one of the festival’s strongest lineups to date.
Scheduled to take place between April 22–26 at its usual home on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the fourth edition of BRED is shaping up to be a concentrated snapshot of where global hip-hop, RnB, and Afro-fusion currently sit and who’s driving the conversation. With Clipse and Mustard kicking things off on April 23, Gunna and Nemzzz taking over on April 24, and Bryson Tiller and Ayra Starr closing out the headline run on April 25, the programming leans heavily into artists whose influence extends far beyond their respective scenes.
This year’s event arrives at a particularly high point for several of its performers. Clipse touch down in the UAE’s capital city fresh off their first-ever Grammy win, entering a celebrated new chapter in their legacy. Mustard, long considered one of the architects of modern West Coast hip-hop, brings a catalogue of chart-dominating hits that have shaped the sound of the last decade. Gunna, still riding high off his most recent commercial run, anchors the lineup with a pull that cements BRED as a serious stop on the global music touring map. And with Nemzzz, Bryson Tiller, and Ayra Starr completing the mix, the festival balances veteran pedigree with the momentum of artists defining the next wave.
According to organizers, more announcements are on the way, not only on the music side of things, but also across the other pillars BRED has built its identity on, notably art, food and sport. Other activations across the three-day festival include publishing a limited-edition photography book in partnership with Middle East Archive, and a gallery exhibition spotlighting the works of Lebanese creative Yasmina Hilal, Bahraini photographer Ali Al-Shehabi, and Tunisian multi-hyphenate Taqwa Bint Ali, among others.
