Last week, it was announced that legendary British rock band Coldplay is set to perform at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Sports City Stadium on Jan. 11, 2025. Obviously, tickets sold out within minutes, leaving many feeling extremely disappointed. But not for long, as it was announced that the Yellow hitmakers have added an extra date to give loyal fans another opportunity to experience their repertoire of classics live.

With a new concert penciled in for Jan. 12, 2025, the Middle Eastern division of American entertainment company Live Nation explained that the decision to add a second show was driven by the overwhelming demand from fans eager to see the band perform. Set a day after their initial performance, as expected, the recently-added concert “will also be part of Coldplay’s globally-acclaimed Music of the Spheres World Tour, which has dazzled audiences around the world with its immersive visuals, stunning light shows, and unmatched energy,” per a shared statement.

The new batch of tickets will go live bit by bit, starting with Live Nation’s pre-sale, which is set for Sep. 26, at 12 P.M. available exclusively at www.livenation.me, followed by a general ticket sale kicking off the next day, on Sept. 27, at 12 P.M. Prices will start at a price point of AED 195 ($53). Meanwhile, resale tickets are being advertised for as much as 6,500 AED ($1769).
