5 Couture Week Beauty Looks to Copy for the Ultimate Haute Girl Summer

We got you covered

Paris Haute Couture Week has come and gone, bringing with it a jam-packed schedule filled with fashion heavy-hitters including Chanel, Dior, Elie Saab, and more, for a week of non-stop fashion and incredible beauty looks we need to incorporate into our routines this summer. If you need inspiration, we rounded up the five best beauty looks from the Fall 2022 Haute Couture runways so you can have the haute girl summer you truly deserve.

Sultry Makeup at Zuhair Murad

Zuhair look

The Lebanese designer’s most recent couture collection was inspired by spirituality and mysticism, so it only makes sense that the corresponding beauty look was equally out-of-this-world. Sofia Tilbury, the creative director artist of Murad’s Haute Couture offering decided to give models a fresh and contemporary take on the smokey eye. The sultry eye makeup look was balanced by glowing and lit-from-within skin, courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury’s crystal-infused Magic Serum and cult favorite Magic Cream. A slick of nude peach lipstick a la “Runway Royalty” added a spell-binding finish that off-set the sultry, smokey eye.

#Wokeuplikethis at Chanel

Chanel look

The makeup at the luxury Parisian maison’s runway was effortless, fresh make-up that was nearly imperceptible that no one would ever know the models were actually wearing everything from foundation and eyeshadow to highlighter and lipstick. Such is the power of an expertly-executed no makeup-makeup look, which has the ability to transform your entire look whilst ensuring that you look like you #wokeuplikethis.

Pops of Color at Viktor & Rolf

The summer is all about experimenting with different color palettes, and Viktor & Rolf’s latest couture offering made sure to offer inspo for days when it comes to painterly pops of color. Cherry red, electric blue, rich aubergine, and shocking pink were washed across cheeks, eyes, and lips, while lashes were coated in either frosty orange or deep navy mascara and framed by clean, brushed up brows.

Bold Red Lips at Schiaparelli

Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath was responsible for dreaming up the sophisticated and glamorous beauty look backstage at Schiaparelli. Using her unmatched skills, McGrath gave models impossibly sculpted cheekbones, smokey winged eyes, and a bold brick-colored lip.

Baby Hairs at Georges Hobeika

Models at Georges Hobeika’s Fall 2022 Couture offering strutted down the catwalk wearing high, slicked-back ponytails with baby hairs. To lay your baby hairs like a pro, we suggest squeezing a dime-size amount of Got2b (which has an indestructible hold, btw) to a toothbrush and gently brush downwards at the edge of the hairline and swoop the edges in the direction you want them to go. If you really want to amp up the glamor, you can try bedazzling your baby hairs by adding expertly-placed rhinestones and gems.
