Following the recent opening of an Italian restaurant, Toto, in Abu Dhabi, Cristiano Ronaldo and legendary tennis player Rafael Nadal have just cut the proverbial ribbon of another eatery in the UAE — only this time in Dubai.
Dubbed Tatel, the launch of this second dining spot will bring Spanish gastronomy to the heart of the tiny Gulf State, promising to take prospective visitors on a journey to the Iberian peninsula through each and every dish they have à la carte.
With a candle-lit entrance and surrounding décors in earthy tones of brown, green, and maroon, the newly opened establishment is designed to impress guests with live entertainment, a sophisticated dining room overlooking the kitchen, and a spacious Mediterranean-style terrace featuring a gurgling fountain against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa.
Inspired by the United States in the 1920s, the venue will also include a restaurant lounge with a Prohibition-era-inspired bar as well as several private spaces perfect for VIP dining, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity for all those who chose.
Nestled in Dubai’s Hotel Boulevard, Autograph Collection, the restaurant will build on the success of its other locations in Madrid, Ibiza, Beverly Hills, and Mexico City. On the culinary side of things, their menu will be very similar to what is offered at their other venues by featuring recipes crafted with ingredients directly imported from Spain. Some of their standout dishes include the traditional tortilla, Spanish potato salad, Balfego tuna carpaccio, and tender slow-cooked beef ribs amongst other mouthwatering options.
Open everyday of the week, the restaurant’s team, composed of highly skilled chefs and attentive staff, are ready to welcome guests from noon to late at night in an inviting setting that promises to leave a lasting impression on all those who may be tempted by a taste of Spain away from Spain. So whether it’s for casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or a festive gathering with friends, Tatel is the hotspot to bump to the top of your dining bucket list this week.
