CTZN Cosmetics Brings Genderless Beauty to Dubai

Inclusivity at its finest

“We’re here to change the standard” reads CTZN Cosmetics’ mission statement. With their debut range, that’s exactly what the Dubai-based beauty brand is doing.

Founded by Pakistani sisters Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha Khan, the makeup brand has joined the growing number of beauty brands working to shatter the status-quo with a new, inclusive, genderless, vegan, and cruelty free line. Cleverly named Nudiversal, their first drop hit the mark, featuring 25 shades of nude lipsticks, designed to suit complexions not previously accounted for when it comes to lip shades.

“We’ve worked tirelessly perfecting these formulas to ensure we had a nude lipstick shade for every skin tone – no more mixing required,” said Naseeha Khan in a statementwho is a makeup artist in her own right and is in charge of the company’s product development.

The release also includes Globalm, a non-sticky dewy balm that comes in two versions (both colourless, with one containing shimmer to add a bit of sparkle), also created with inclusivity in mind.
