DJ Snake’s ‘Let Me Love You’ Re-Enters Spotify Global 50 After Nearly a Decade

2016 nostalgia is in full swing at the moment, which likely explains why DJ Snake’s Let Me Love You is suddenly back in Spotify’s Global Top 50. Like it had never left, the part-Algerian artist’s song featuring Justin Bieber— which dropped 10-years-ago– is charting again, bringing with it the feeling of an era we are clearly seeking to re-live.

Rolled out as part of his debut album ENCORE, the Paris-based disc-spinner was then in the early stages of his career, trying to capitalize on the monumental success of some previous hits including Lean On or Turn Down For What. The track helped cement his staying power, and now, after a decade, it’s been granted an unexpected second life. Sonically unmistakable in its 2016-coded riffs and melodies, it pulls listeners back to that era with clinical precision, guiding listeners down memory lane and, in the process, reminding DJ Snake of the blueprint that shaped his rise.

At the moment, one trend has most social media users in a chokehold. Since the start of the year, timelines have been flooded with people revisiting who they were, what they cared about, and how they looked in 2016, effectively resurrecting that entire era in 2026. As elements from that period resurface, the ripple effect is clear. Some are benefiting more than others— notably artists like DJ Snake, who are watching dormant tracks return to circulation and pull them back into conversations. To be fair though, DJ Snake never really needed a nostalgia wave to get people talking about him again.

just to be clear dj snake was so huge globally in 2016- lean on, middle,, everyone wanted to collab with him cause his production was on top notch and he had hundreds of demo sent to him for let me love you and it was his call, he picked justin for the song and you know the rest.
