Dubai Fashion Week Announces Preliminary Schedule for Spring/Summer 2025

Featuring more than 30 brands from the region and beyond

Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) is poised to make waves once again. Just last year, the iconic Naomi Campbell graced the runway, setting a high bar for the fashion-filled week. This year, Dubai Fashion Week, scheduled for Sep. 1-7 at  Dubai’s Design District (d3), with over 30 emerging and established brands from around the globe promises to be a captivating prelude to the global fashion marathon, leading up to New York Fashion Week.

Representing a diverse array of countries, including France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, and the UK, the lineup underscores Dubai’s position as a global fashion nexus. “Dubai is the pulsating heart of fashion in the region, and Dubai Fashion Week is disseminating its rhythm globally,” said Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3– part of TECOM Group. The first three days of the event will spotlight haute couture collections, complemented by exclusive shopping experiences in collaboration with top-tier retailers.

Following this, the final three days will showcase ready-to-wear collections from brands such as Alia Bastamam, April & Alex, Benang Jarum, BLSSD, Dima Ayad, Born in Exile, Buttonscarves, Choice, Heaven Lights, Riva, Self Made, Viva Vox and Weinsanto, with the latter backed by the prestigious Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

The concluding day is reserved for private appointments and a buyers’ market, catering to the tastes of the most discerning customers. This season also marks the debut of the International Buyers Programme, designed to connect global retailers with the innovative designers featured at Dubai Fashion Week. Mohammed Aqra, Chief Strategy Officer of the Arab Fashion Council, emphasized the program’s significance, stating, “Our Buyers Programme aims to forge meaningful connections between global retailers and the visionary designers we showcase. The positive feedback from the fashion industry underscores the platform’s growing international influence.”

Adding to the event’s allure, DFW’s strategic media partner, Meta, will return with Threads Talks V3.0. These sessions, featuring thought leaders and industry experts, will delve into the current fashion trends and challenges from the perspectives of global and regional buyers, C-suite executives, and brand consultants. This dynamic dialogue promises to shape the global fashion outlook, making Dubai Fashion Week a pivotal event on the international fashion calendar.
