In today’s episode of “What Can Rich People in Dubai Possibly Spend Their Money On Now?” — may we present the latest flex: a party plane. Yes, it’s a real thing. Yes, there’ll be a DJ. Yes, there’ll be drinks.
Launching next month, AIRBOX Dubai is taking the concept of pre-drinks to literal new heights. Guests will board a private sky cruiser tricked out for an in-flight rave: think music, mood lighting, bottle service, and panoramic views no rooftop club can compete with.

The brainchild of UAE-based label Moe’s Records, luxury travel concierge Escape Code, and Egypt’s cult-favorite electronic music festival Sandbox, this “first-of-its-kind” experience is reserved exclusively for Sandbox ticket holders. The flight takes off from Dubai on May 7 and lands just in time for the festival’s kickoff in El Gouna on May 8.
It’s a one-way ride only. The charter departs from Al Maktoum International Airport and lands at Hurghada International Airport — about 30 minutes from the festival grounds. Flight time? Roughly three and a half hours of dancing above the clouds.
Packages start at AED 2,126 ($578) and include your one-way flight, festival pass, and ground transport to El Gouna — the Red Sea resort town that’ll host Sandbox this year.
