Egyptian rapper Marwan Moussa is making his much-anticipated comeback. Taking to Instagram, the Cairo-born MC announced he’s dropping his third studio album on May 5 by way of a single and video, dubbed BOSAKBER, giving fans just enough time to memorize the lyrics ahead of his headlining show at 2025 BRED Abu Dhabi. The forthcoming album will be his first full body of work since the release of IMPORT/EXPORT in 2023.
As Moussa previously revealed to MILLE the last time we sat down with him, the upcoming project is set to unfold in five parts—each reflecting a specific stage of grief. The rollout kicks off with The Man Who Lost His Heart, the first installment in what promises to be some of his most introspective work to date.

“This album wasn’t built overnight— it was carved out of time, grief, and intention,” reflected Moussa. “I couldn’t rush it, because every word and every sound had to carry the weight of something real. The project is split across five discs, each one tracing the stages of grief— a map of the emotions I had to confront after losing my mother,” the 30-year-old artist said in a recently shared press release.
“This isn’t just about loss, though; it’s about finding the strength to stand back up, and offering a hand to anyone who might need it. Especially the younger generation— I want them to know that even the darkest moments don’t last forever. I recorded this album all over the world— Egypt, the Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, England, Los Angeles— every city left its fingerprint on these songs. I was patient, handpicking the voices and collaborators who could translate the emotions I couldn’t always put into words. I’m proud of this body of work, and I’m ready for the world to hear it. I hope there’s a song in there that finds you when you need it most— the way making this album found me,” he added.
As of now, not much details have been revealed— no tracklist, no confirmed features— but if Moussa’s past work is any indication, we’re in for something big; and we can’t wait to discover it.
