Rap, RnB, and pop have all had their moments at Coachella, but it looks like in its next edition, mahraganat is set to steal the show as Cairo-born hitmaker Mohamed Ramadan has just been confirmed as part of the renowned music festival’s 2025 lineup.
This week, the 36-year-old actor-slash-singer announced the exciting piece of news to his fans and followers through his official social media accounts, describing how honored and thrilled he is to take over Coachella.

“I’m super excited to be part of @coachella (and) I’m proud to be the first Egyptian to perform on its stage,” he wrote, adding “Before this step, I had achieved 4.6% of my ambition, and now I can say I’ve reached 4.7%”.
With performances scheduled for both weekends, April 13 and 20, Ramadan is set to deliver an unforgettable showcase of his high-octane classics, celebrating his decade-spanning career on one of the world’s most iconic stages. And he won’t be alone—joining him will be an all-star lineup featuring artists of the likes of Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Green Day, Post Malone, and many more.
