Al Qasimi, known for his eponymous label, also split his time as an architect, and held the position of chairman of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council.

The team at MILLE joins his friends and family in deep sorrow as he was one of the pioneers of Arab fashion on an international scale, never compromising on the quality of his garments. He will be forever remembered as a risk taker and very humble man.
