Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) has barely closed the curtain on its last edition but it’s already looking ahead to the next. The annual fashion award, which just wrapped up its sixth edition in Marrakesh last Thursday, is already teasing exciting plans for next year.
Though exact dates and names of future participants haven’t been disclosed yet, organizers have just announced that India was chosen to be FTA’s guest country for its seventh edition. A key feature in each one of their annual happenings, the initiative seeks to “promote an exchange of knowledge and cultural expertise (….), offering winners world-class mentoring opportunities, financial support, and access to a global network,” per a released statement.

After Colombia in 2021, Turkey in 2022, Nigeria in 2023, and Spain in 2024, the Central Asian country is up next, promising to reward up-and-coming creative talents with a platform to shine and make themselves seen in the world of fashion.
“I am thrilled to welcome India as Fashion Trust Arabia’s Guest Country for 2025 with the support of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.Their commitment to showcasing India’s rich artistic heritage and supporting local talents will ensure that this partnership is a huge success. Together, we will celebrate India’s remarkable contributions to global fashion!“ Tania Fares, Co-Chair, Fashion Trust Arabia, said in the press release.
It also seems that Morocco was a one-time stop, as next year’s ceremony is set to return to its home base in Doha, Qatar, where the winners will be revealed this time next year.
