FIFA’s Latest Soundtrack Puts the Spotlight on Arab Artists

Football heads are about to enjoy playing and listening to the game

The list of songs EA Sports decides to include into its FIFA franchise is probably one of the few features that make or break the game. After all, spending countless hours trying to compete with friends wouldn’t be easy without a good soundtrack.

And this year, three artists from the Arab World have been added to the fine selection of songs, namely Spanish-Moroccan rapper Morad, British-Lebanese artist Bklava as well as French-Algerian nightlife guru DJ Snake.

Comprised of two playlists specially tailored for the two game modes that will be available on the game, Classic and Volta, our regional ambassadors have been plucked in with some star-studded names starting from some of the UK’s finest lyricists such as the London-born Headie One or even the Nottingham-Based duo Young-T and Bugsy all the way up to the Scandinavian Swedish House Mafia.

With 122 songs spanning across 27 countries, the video game, which wants to go  global, did not shy away from inviting artists from all four corners of the planet for our very own listening pleasure.
