French Montana to Perform in Cairo

The rapper is making his Egyptian debut

Home to one of the region’s biggest music industries, Egypt has long served as the go-to stage for the Arab world’s leading names. But the North African nation looks to be setting its eyes on the international market, bringing one of the world’s biggest hip-hop stars for a performance.

Moroccan-American rapper French Montana is set to take the stage at Cairo’s Dandy Mega Mall on April 12. Though the Rabat-born artist is no stranger to the region, having performed just last year in Abu Dhabi during Grand Prix celebrations and in his hometown of Rabat last June, the concert will mark his Egyptian debut.

The move comes just one month following a successful Red Hot Chili Peppers performance held at the Giza Pyramids that saw thousands in attendance.

Ticket prices start at 500 EGP
