Future to Perform in Morocco for the First Time

Atlanta rap is about to takeover Rabat

Morocco’s Mawazine Festival is almost here, and this year’s edition is looking as promising as ever, especially for rap fans in the region.

Following the announcement of Marshmello, Karol G and Maluma—who are headlining the opening weekend—the festival’s organisers are bringing none other than ATL’s very own,  Future, to the stage in Rabat’s OLM Souissi arena.

The move will mark the American rapper’s Moroccan debut. The Grammy-nominated artist is no stranger to the region however, having performed in Abu Dhabi during Grand Prix last November.

Basique rapper OrelSan, known for his politically incorrect lyrics, is set to take the stage ahead of Future on June 24.

To complete the line-up is Toulouse-based rap duo Bigflo & Oli, who broke out into the French rap scene with their hit Gangsta. The duo will be taking to the stage in Morocco for the first time on June 23, followed by a performance by rapper Jaloux the same day.
