Fatehi was born on Feb. 6, 1992, which makes her 32 today. Her star sign is Aquarius.

She’s of Moroccan descent

According to an interview given to Indian daily newspaper The Hindu, Fatehi’s father would be of Moroccan descent while her mother would be from Punjab, a region in the North of India. “I have always been in touch with my roots — both Indian and Arab culture,” she told the publication in 2015.

She’s also Canadian

On top of being both Indian and Moroccan, Fatehi also holds Canadian citizenship, adding another layer to her multicultural background. Born and raised in Toronto, the actress now spends most of her time on set shooting across Bollywood’s most sought-after stages.

Before becoming a full-time thespian, Fatehi attended York University, a college near Toronto, specializing in political sciences and international relations.

She made her Bollywood debut a decade ago

Fatehi made her Bollywood debut in Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans, a thrilling adventure where a man and his team of commandos attempt to avenge the death of a photojournalist killed by a white tigress. According to Box Office India, the film grossed ₹15 million ($178,695) on its opening day and amassed a weekend collection of around ₹5 million ($59.563). Since then, she has been featured in over 20 films, five TV series, and two web-series.

Before becoming the famous actress she is today, Fatehi first stepped into the working world as a sales associate in a men’s store near her old high-school in Canada. 

She’s also a successful singer

Aside of her illustrious career in acting, the 32-year-old also happens to be a successful singer with a count of 672,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. A regular fixture at the top of music charts, Fatehi is notably known for having released one of the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s songs, namely Light The Sky, alongside Moroccan hitmaker Manuel, Yemeni-Emirati artist Balqees, Moroccan-Swedish record producer RedOne, and Iraqi singer Rahma Mezher.
