Haute’s Top 5 Tracks for Spring

The playlist you’ll never stop streaming

Haute is the Paris-based, French-American music duo—comprised of Romain Hainaut (also known as Blasé) and Anna Magidson—met while studying in Montréal and have been making their electronica-infused, r&b synth-pop for three years.

Their recent appearance on Colors with their feel good electro-pop track You Can Shut Me Down—which garnered 3 million views—well and truly cemented them as the hottest duo of 2018.

Haute does not like to be confined to one genre; their music is a blend of their varying music tastes (think dreamy pop, hip-hop, RnB, jazz and electronica) so it’s easy to see why everyone is obsessed with them.

While we wait for the release of their debut album, Haute shared their top 5 tracks with us.

Romain

JMSN – So Badly

Because 2018 is all about disco.

BROCKHAMPTON – Star

Because it’s fresh.

Sheck Wes – Mo Bamba

Because it’s New York.

Anna

Little Dragon – Constant Surprises

Because it’s a complicated theme, which she approaches skilfully.

Quadron – Sea Salt

Because it’s a track that is so light in terms of the beat, yet so full of emotions in the voice – it’s chill but effective.
