Heading to Paris Fashion Week? Make Sure to Check Out the Suez Studios Pop-Up

Over the last couple years, we have watched Iraqi-Egyptian label Suez Studios develop from a modest, community-driven initiative into a fully articulated fashion label marked by precise references, clarity in vision, and coherence in execution. It is for this reason that we’re beyond pleased to see the London-based brand host its first-ever Paris Fashion Week (PFW) pop-up, bringing its creations to the French capital for a concise, considered presentation.

Happening over two days, from Jan. 21 to 22, at immersive showroom FCC, the pop-up will offer a window into the label’s world at the forthcoming edition of Paris Fashion Week Men’s. “It feels like Suez finds a natural home inside FCC’s multidisciplinary space, where our values of craftsmanship, design, and cultural expression really meet. It’s our first event in Paris so it’s a very exciting moment as we’ve been waiting for the right time to do it and it’s here,“ Suez Studios founder Serag Elmeleigly told MILLE.

“As a British-Egyptian, I’ve always existed between cultures. FCC was created as a platform for brands and creatives who share that in-between space—deeply rooted in heritage, yet expressed through a contemporary lens. Brands like SUEZ Studio, which blends Arab cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship with modern design, represent exactly what FCC is here to support,” Ahmed Kamel, co-founder of FCC added.

For this mighty first, the label will be presenting items from its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Desired Paths. Launched online in December, the collection is grounded in reflection, patience, and the courage to move forward before the path fully reveals itself.

Nearly a year in the making, Desired Paths marks the label’s first collection fully produced in Egypt from start to finish, championing local craft, textiles, and hands-on workmanship. Across 11 pieces designed for each season, the collection balances soft tailoring, statement silhouettes, and everyday staples— from the Ajour shirt, with its carefully manipulated and hand-tied weave, to the Khayamiya appliqué bomber built for colder weathers.

To mark the occasion, the pop-up will also lean into sound, with DJs playing back-to-back across the two days. For the label’s PFW debut, Suez Studios tapped London-based Nigerian selector Nosa alongside Paris-based Moroccan collective Warmer Together to set the tone.
