The wait is finally over. Ola Abdelsabour, portrayed by Tunisian star Hend Sabri, returns to the screen as Finding Ola gears up for its much-anticipated second season on Netflix. Slated to premiere on Sep. 26, this six-episode arc—helmed by director Hadi El Bagoury and with Sabry and Amin El Masri as executive producers—delves even deeper into the heart and resilience of its beloved protagonist.

Season two finds Ola facing a whirlwind of challenges, as her once-promising business teeters on the brink of collapse. But rather than succumbing to defeat, she sets off on a journey where every setback sharpens her resolve, and every fractured relationship reveals new layers of strength. Central to this season is her complicated dynamic with Karim, played by fellow Tunisian actor Dhafer L’Abidine. Though Karim steps in as an unwanted business partner, he also represents an unexpected chance at love—a possibility that tugs at Ola’s heart despite her reluctance.

Produced by SALAM Prod in collaboration with Partner Pro, Finding Ola’s second season showcases the writing talent of Ghada AbdelAal, Hana Mahmoud, Seif Omar, Zizette Said, and Hisham Hamza, under Sabri’s careful watch. With a cast of powerhouse talents including Sawsan Badr, Hany Adel, Nada Moussa, Mahmoud El Leithy, Aicel Ramzy, Omar Sherif, Yasmina El-Abd, and Tarek el Ebiary, the show is primed to captivate audiences once again, exclusively on Netflix.

Finding Ola was renewed for a second season back in 2022. The news was confirmed by the 44-year-old actress, who shared the announcement via video on Instagram. In the 30-second clip, Sabri said: “Of course, we will continue. Ola’s story is not over yet. Didn’t she teach us that the end of one story is a beginning of a new story? So for Ola to take her second chance, there has to be a Season Two for Finding Ola.”

The show joins a slate of original Arabic-language content for the Middle East and North Africa in 2024, including the second season of Kuwaiti finance world drama The Exchange, a third season of reality show Dubai Bling, and a new unscripted Emirati title Love Is Blind, Habibi.
