Of all the
beauty collaborations we could have predicted this year,
Huda Kattan and Cardi B were probably not sharing a square on anyone’s bingo card. And yet, the pairing makes perfect sense. Huda Beauty has officially tapped the Grammy-winning rapper for its latest launch, bringing Cardi into the Easy Bake universe for Ultra Snatched, a new setting powder duo landing on Sept. 10.
At this point, Kattan appears determined to give the beauty industry absolutely no time to recover between launches. The American-Iraqi Dubai-based founder has spent much of 2026 keeping Huda Beauty’s release calendar busy, and for her latest trick, she has recruited one of pop culture’s loudest, funniest, and most instantly recognizable personalities. And naturally, a regular campaign announcement was never going to cut it.
The collaboration was unveiled through a suitably chaotic video starring Kattan and Cardi, which begins with the pair coming face-to-face before things take a very Freaky Friday turn. Worlds are swapped, identities get blurred and, at one point, the Huda Beauty name is scratched out in favor of “Cardi Beauty,” complete with the rapper replacing Kattan as the face of the brand. Subtle, it is not.
Behind all the theatrics, however, there is an actual product to discuss. Ultra Snatched expands Huda Beauty’s cult Easy Bake franchise with a two-tone powder compact featuring complementary pink and lilac shades. They can be used individually or blended together depending on the desired finish, with the color-correcting tones intended to brighten the complexion while delivering the blurred, sculpted finish that has become something of a Huda Beauty calling card. The exact lilac shade has yet to be revealed.
The collaboration also brings together two women who have become exceptionally good at turning their personalities into global businesses. Kattan went from beauty blogger and makeup artist in Dubai to building Huda Beauty into one of the region’s biggest beauty exports, while Cardi has built an empire around the kind of unfiltered personality brands usually spend entire marketing meetings trying to manufacture.
There is also a regional connection. Cardi B has plenty of fans on this side of the world and took that relationship offline last year when she performed at MDLBEAST Soundstorm in Riyadh. Now, she is linking up with arguably the Middle East’s most internationally recognizable beauty founder.
Huda Beauty x Cardi B Ultra Snatched launches Sept. 10, 2026, online through Huda Beauty and in stores.
