That’s a train we wouldn’t miss!

When speaking of distinguishable and unique filmmaking, Wes Anderson is a name that instantly comes to mind. The Wes Anderson aesthetic: soft pastel colors, symmetry, doll-house like interior, is not only a cinematic powerhouse but is entirely phenomenon of its own .

And if you ever dreamt of being immersed in a Wes Anderson movie-like experience, you can actually make that a reality.

Luxury travel specialist Belmond has teamed up with the American filmmaker on renovating the “Cygnus” carriage of Belmond’s British Pullman train.

And if you’ve seen any Wes Anderson movies, you might already know that he has a thing for railway carriages. Speaking of his collaboration with Belmond, he said: “I love trains! I have often had the chance to invent train compartments and carriages in my movies – so I was immediately pleased to say yes to this real-life opportunity.”

Photos of the interior of the carriage were released and they do not disappoint: Swan themed with heavy tones of green and dark rich wood and gorgeous tableware.

The train’s first trip will take place today, the 13th of October leaving from London’s Victoria station. More information on the tickets can be found here.

This collaboration comes in anticipation of Wes Anderson’s newest film The French Dispatch that will be releasing next week.
