Kim Kardashian Launches Her Own Podcast

Criminal justice reform is the topic on the table

Remember when Kim Kardashian went to the White House to talk about criminal justice? Well, the reality-TV-star-turned-business-mogul (who also owns KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance and Skims) is not done fighting just yet.

Having already worked on a documentary about the US prison system called The Justice Project, and completed her first year of law studies, Kim—who follows in the footsteps of her father, who was also a lawyer—is continuing to use her staggering 175 million following for a good cause.

Gone are the days when Kim was best known for following in the footsteps of Paris Hilton, becoming famous… for simply being famous. In May 2019,  she helped release 17 prisoners, who had been unfairly sentenced and stated working with the Innocence Project, a non-profit organisation, which seeks to exonerate wrongly convicted prisoners.

Sitting around and posing for the ‘gram is no longer enough for Kim, and her fans. With new plans to turn away from the small screen, for the first time ever, and launch her own podcast, as reported by Variety on June 17. The podcast is set to release later this year, release date TBC.

Co-hosted and co-produced by Kim, and Emmy Award-nominated TV producer Lori Rothschild Ansaldi, this Spotify-exclusive podcast will explore the issue of criminal justice reform, which has come to the forefront of political conversations in recent weeks.
