Kim Kardashian’s Balenciaga era culminated today with her walking for the Parisian brand’s fall 2023 haute couture show in Paris. The business mogul and reality television star, who was spotted in Paris yesterday with her nine-year-old daughter North West, was noticeably absent from the front row, immediately making audience members at the brand’s new Balenciaga couture store in 10 avenue George V, Paris as well as those tuning in on Instagram Live question whether Kardashian would be making her runway debut for the Demna-helmed fashion house. And sure enough, the 41-year-old Balenciaga muse emerged on the star-studded catwalk after British-Albanian popstar Dua Lipa and part-Palestinian model Bella Hadid took their turns.

Kardashian stepped out on the catwalk wearing a long leather black dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline and long sleeves that double as opera gloves. The look was paired with matching black boots. She was followed on the catwalk by actress Nicole Kidman and supermodel Naomi Campbell.
The Skims founder has been spotted exclusively in designs by Demna (formerly known as Demna Gvasalia), the designer who has been behind Balenciaga since 2015. In the last couple of months alone, the reality star has taken to marking important moments in her life, such as her first time hosting Saturday Night Live and her appearance at the Met Gala, wearing custom pieces from Demna. The designer also tapped Kardashian to star in a recent campaign for the house. So as the ultimate Balenciaga poster girl, it only makes sense that Kardashian is front and center in the brand’s latest runway show.
