‘La Casa De Papel’ Actor Enrique Arce to Star in Egyptian Movie

 It’s official: renowned actor Enrique Arce has just landed in Cairo to work on his next silver-screen appearance. The 51-year-old thespian, best known for his role as Arturo Roman in Netflix’s hit-series La Casa De Papel, is set to make his Egyptian debut as El Goliador, an aging Spanish mobster in an upcoming Egyptian feature.

Titled Cocoa Harvest Season, the forthcoming blockbuster is rumored to be a comedy-action movie, with Arce expected to star alongside several acclaimed local actors, including Mohamed Tharwat, Mahmoud Hafez, Hamza El-Eily, and Tunisian counterpart Najib Belhassen. According to circulating news, the cinematic project’s script will be written by Mohamed Emad and directed by Moataz Hossam, with production support from Claquette Arts and 100 Media Production.

The filming process has allegedly already begun, with his early scenes currently being shot in a villa located in Al-Obour City, Qalioubiya Governorate, in the northeast of Cairo. Some BTS photos have been shared; scroll down to get a first glimpse of the film in the making.
