Lana Del Rey is Going to Perform in Abu Dhabi

Summertime Sadness is officially over

Get ready to book a trip to Abu Dhabi next month, F1 weekend is almost here. We’ve been counting down the days since Travis Scott was confirmed to be kicking off the event with an after-race concert.

And if you weren’t already excited enough, organisers Yas Marina Circuit and Flash entertainment just revealed that Lana Del Rey will take to the stage the following day.

This makes it F1’s most impressive line-up yet. The move will be Del Rey’s UAE debut, which follows the release of her sixth album ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’. Last year saw Sam Smith and Post Malone take to the stage.

The show will mark Scott’s second performance in the UAE. The Sicko Mode rapper headlined Abu Dhabi’s Yasalam Beats on The Beach concert in 2016. But this time, fans can expect to hear his newest hits from his album, ‘Astroworld’.

If you’re an electronic music fan, you’ll be happy to hear that one of the biggest names in the genre is also joining the roster. Marshmello, who is behind a slew of platinum-selling hits, will coming back to the UAE for the races. The DJ, who is due to perform at du Arena on November 28, previously headlined Dubai’s RedFestDXB last February.

And in typical Yas Marina Circuit fashion, the announcement wasn’t made without a few hints. The organiser began dropping hints three days ago, posting a crossword puzzle for fans to solve, and if the comments are any indication, it’s going to be more than fun.
