After honoring the late Virgil Abloh in a commemorative show last month, Louis Vuitton
is landing its suitcases in Dubai this week. The French fashion house is bringing its
traveling exhibition to the Middle Eastern city.

Entitled ‘See LV’, the brand held two previous iterations in Wuhan in 2020 and in
Hangzhou last year. This will be the brand’s third edition and the first in the region. The
exhibition will feature a remarkable selection of modern looks, early twentieth-century
trunks, artistic collaborations as well as several emblematic leather creations straight
out of the century-old fashion house.

Stretching from February 4 to March 7, the month-long showcase is set to take place
at The Dubai Fountain and will allow visitors to explore the world of Louis Vuitton
through different lenses and engaging experiences.

Guests will be welcomed by a portrait of a young Louis Vuitton, conceived by Turkish
artist Refik Anadol who is known for his data-driven algorithm-based pieces, and taken
through an immersive journey through LV’s 160-year-old history. An extensive
presentation of the label’s most iconic bags and accessories will be put under the
spotlight. This will include Louis Vuitton’s distinguished luggage typologies, wardrobe
trunks and almost eponymous raincoat-tent jackets.

“[Dubai is] one of the most cosmopolitan cities that provides a deep sense of
possibility and innovation. Home to over 200 nationalities, Dubai has proven to be a
city where the nexus of East and West makes for a stunning display of cultural
diversity.” the fashion house said in a statement.

Stamping its presence as it has rarely been done in the emirates before, the exhibition
is one not to miss.

See LV will run from February 4 to March 7 at The Dubai Fountain.
