Marwan Pablo to Headline Red Bull Symphonic at the Mall of Egypt

When trap meets classical music

It’s been a whirlwind few months for Egyptian rap sensation Marwan Pablo. Fresh off releasing his latest EP, PRJKTBLUBEAM, in August and wrapping up his first European tour a few weeks ago, the Diesel brand ambassador is making sure to stay in the spotlight by announcing a major concert date at the Mall of Egypt scheduled for Dec. 7.

This time, Pablo, born Marwan Ahmed Metaweh, is taking things to a whole new level by teaming up with the Cairo Celebration Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Nayer Nagui, for the latest edition of Red Bull Symphonic.

Fans got a taste of what’s to come with teasers on social media, showing a symphonic spin on his hit track El Mabda2. The usual trap beats and shaabi undertones are replaced with violins and ethereal orchestral sounds, giving his music a completely fresh feel.

Red Bull Symphonic has made waves globally, with past performances featuring Rick Ross in Atlanta and Metro Boomin alongside John Legend in L.A. Closer to home, Cairokee’s epic 2021 show in Cairo set the tone for what this series can deliver, with Maestro Nagui leading a massive orchestra of 159 musicians and singers.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are on sale now through TicketsMarche. Don’t miss it!
